One of Norway’s leading postmodern designers, Terje Ekstrøm was both of his time and ahead of it. His internationally successful Ekstrem Chair (1984) is an icon of modern design due to its unique form and the fact that it’s surprisingly comfortable. You can sit facing forward, or sideways with one leg draped over an armrest, or even facing backward with the back of the chair supporting you in a variety of positions.
- A bold sculptural design that’s also very comfortable.
- Open frame allows for a variety of sitting positions.
- Steel frame is padded and hand upholstered with a wool-blend knitted fabric.
